What a terrific place! Claudio, Claudia and Linda made our stay so wonderful. We changed our plans at the last minute during our holiday and stumbled across this hotel on this website. You get so much for the "excellent" price. They responded quickly and accommodated us when there was a minor problem in the room and they were so patient and kind to our children. The breakfast was continental but quite sufficient and with espresso/cappuccino in the morning. The room was very clean, the location was convenient to the autostrada and center of town, and the staff were so helpful with local sights. Claudio even handwrote an itinerary for us for olive oil tasting, wine tasting and seeing the tiny medieval towns in the area. We will return to Foligno and to the hi Express in the future. Located in a rather drab commercial site next to a betting shop, this hotel surprised us. It’s in a fantastic area on the outskirts of the town, only a few blocks away from the centre of town. We found the rooms to be very clean, spacious and modern. the breakfast buffet was the best we've had on the tour. Staff members were friendly and even provided us an itinerary for olive oil and wine tastings.

The hotel computer has a strict 30-minute limit which can be awkward when in the middle of something.

New Hotel, very clean, excellent rate, it feels like home. Foligno is very close to Assisi, it's a nice family city with evenings activities. People ride bikes all over the city. Amazing! We loved staying there, it felt good, wished we stayed longer. Around Foligno, there are many other places to visit which it's a must visit: Perugia and Gubio. While staying there we also went to Florence and Pisa, a little distant but not bad if you are driving.

Very nice city hotel you can also reach the city on foot in about 10 minutes. Mr Luigi was particularly nice. I would recommend it.

The selection of rolls was very small and not enough, machine with coffee was not refilled also, we are used to Italy cappuccino. On the last day the breakfast room was very crowded and noisy. (Tour group)

The hotel was great value for money, with reasonable prices for the amenities provided. The attention to detail was impressive, from the spotless clean rooms to the well-appointed basic amenities. The location, while on a rather drab commercial site next to a betting shop, was convenient for exploring the city and had easy access to transportation.

This hotel was well placed for Assisi and surrounding countryside. Staff were excellent and attended to our needs promptly and professionally. It was spotlessly clean, quiet and cool while it was 33 outside. It is near the main roads for easy access and travel plus it is within walking distance to the old and very interesting town of Foligno. So much to see, we loved our time there.

We were unsure about the safety of our car as parking is quite communal outside the hotel but we had nothing to fear. It was untouched. Our biggest problem was knowing where to park it in the evening so as it did not get the early morning sun making it hot before we travelled the next day.....

We also appreciated the value for money, as breakfast was included in our rate. it was a comfortable and enjoyable experience.

I recently stayed at a hotel on my trip to Italy and it exceeded my expectations in many ways. the value for money was outstanding. The prices were very reasonable for the level of service and comfort provided. Additionally, the attention to detail was commendable. The staff went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay, from the friendly and helpful service to the well-maintained rooms. The basic amenities were all in order, and I particularly appreciated the comfortable twin beds pushed together to form a king-size bed, providing a good night's sleep. The breakfast buffet was also impressive, with a great selection of dishes to choose from. It was a wonderful bonus that breakfast was included in our rate.

All was more than satisfactory, no complaints at all.
